另外有些來諮詢的人個性比較內向，會擔心自己不夠外向，無法在課堂中自ｈｉｇｈ，是不是就不適合當華語老師？我不這麼覺得，畢竟教學不是作秀，重要的是你會不會引導、能不能舉出對的例句，設定適合的情境。通常 I 人也蠻擅長一對一對話，那麼可以選擇一對一或是小班制，顧好每一個學生，教學感覺上也比較踏實。
另一個很多人在諮詢會問的問題是：「英文程度要多好？」甚至諮詢結束後，就急著跑去繳錢補英文。
我從小就愛表演，國中的時候表演過相聲，後來在上文化課的時候，比大部分的華語老師多了一項文化課技能，不僅教學生相聲相關的背景知識，還能幫他們寫稿，一起背台詞，看著學生在台下練習中文、上台盡情表演，是最一舉兩得，也最好玩的文化課體驗。
